Miri Messika

Tonight I went to a concert given by Miri Messika, a popular Israeli singer who released her first albumn this year. I was a little skeptical about buying a ticket since I knew I wouldn't be able to understand the lyrics, but one of my suitemates is a huge fan and insisted I come to the concert. I'm so glad I did! I really enjoyed the music. We sat in the third row, and afterwards my friend convinced the stage manager to let us go backstage to meet Miri. She was friendly and totally unpretentious.
